The Principle:
Carbonless Copy Paper normally takes the form of a chemically reactive copying system consisting of several sheets of paper (Form Sets) placed one on top of another. The backside of every sheet is coated with chemical material called CB or doner (Coated Back); the front side of every sheet is coated with receptor chemical called CF (Coated Front). The sheets between the top and bottom are coated both sides with CB and CF respectively and is known as CFB.

When sheets are in form of set, each doner is in contact with receptor layer. The chemical micro capsules in donor rupture when pressure is applied by any writing instrument and react with chemical on receptor sheet to form a permanent image giving the impression of figure or letter written. This is Carbonless Copy.
